UPCOMING PCC ADULT PROGRAMS & ACTIVITIES
Stability Ball
Monday's: 5:00pm - 6:00pm & Thursday's 6:30pm - 7:30pm

4/3
This one hour class is designed to improve core
stability and balance, while focusing on correct body alignment. Each
class concludes with a relaxation segment. Students must provide their
own ball and exercise mat. Instructor: Alice Daskiewich, NDEITA
certified. Costs are: $25.00 for one class or $40.00 for both. Classes
held at the Palmyra Town Hall.
Hatha Yoga
Monday's: 6:15pm - 7:30pm
Session III: "TBA" Please call the PCC for next class
dates.
A one hour and fifteen minute class that focuses on
yoga and breathing techniques to encourage a greater mind-body
connection and increase self awareness along with balance and
flexibility. Students must provide their own yoga mats. Instructor: Lisa
Hauf, AFAA certified. The costs for this 8 week session is $70.00.
Classes held at the Palmyra Town Hall.
Traditional Rug Hooking
Come and join PCC's adult oriented arts and craft program.
Hook your own heirloom rug from a commercial design or design your own.
Day & Time: Monday's 10:00am - 2:00pm
Where: Palmyra Community Center
COST: $1.00 per day
Must provide own supplies,.for more information call the PCC.
Seneca Niagara Casino Trip
Resident's ages 21 and older enjoy a round trip bus ride
to New York's Niagara Seneca Niagara Casino. The bus is equipped with a
lavatory, TV and VCR.
Trip Dates: The last Tuesday of each month. Time: Leave
the PCC at 8:30am – Return at 6:30pm Fee: $26.00 & includes a food
and coin voucher. To reserve a seat please call ahead @ 597-5501.
Ballroom & Latin Dance Class

Sign Up Forms Available @ the PCC
Learn to dance with a partner and you'll never be bored at a wedding
or social event again! This class will introduce you to the classic Fox
Trot, the Rumba, Romantic Waltz and Fun Swing. Anyone can do this and
have FUN. Instructor: Michelle Madore, World Champion
Ballroom Dancer! Cost: $90.00 per couple. Partner required. This class
is held at the Palmyra Town Hall.
Co-ed Aerobics
Monday's, Wednesday's & Friday's Mornings
Silver Sneakers I: 9:00 - 10:00
This free program combines fun with fitness to increase your
cardiovascular and muscular endurance power with a standing circuit
workout. Upper body strength work with hand held weights, elastic tubing
with handles, and a ball is alternated with non impact choreography. A
chair is offered for support, stretching and relaxation exercises.
Silver Sneakers II: 10:30 - 11:30
This free program is designed to have fun and move to the music
through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength,
range of movement and activity for daily living skills. hand held
weights, elastic tubing with handles and a ball are offered for
resistance. A chair is used for seated and/or standing support.

Silver Sneakers & Secure Horizons
The PCC has teamed up with Healthway's Health Support to make this
adult program available to all who are eligible. Anyone with Preferred
Care Gold, Preferred Care Anywhere and now Secure Horizons is eligible
to use our Cardio Vascular Exercise room and participate in our morning
aerobics classes for FREE! There is no cost to enroll in
these programs. It not only benefits those who participate, but the PCC

Senior Citizens Euchre & Lunch
Every second Thursday of the month Palmyra Senior Citizens enjoy
euchre playing, coffee, donuts & lunch at the PCC. Every month is Pizza
Month so there is no need to bring a lunch. There is no registration
needed and this program is held at the PCC.
Blood Pressure Screening
Free blood pressure screenings every Wednesday from 9:00am - 11:00am.
Lois Forman, volunteer.
